Calvary CME Holds Prayer Breakfast

‘Too Blessed To Be Stressed’ is the theme of the prayer breakfast sponsored by the Women’s Missionary Society of Calvary C.M.E. Church on Saturday, March 2, at 9 a.m.

Jewell Diamond Taylor, the noted motivational speaker and author will headline the event at Brookside Golf Club, 1133 North Rosemont Avenue in Pasadena.

“Both women and men are encouraged to attend this uplifting program. Ms. Taylor is known throughout the nation for her empowering messages to improve your life,” said Pastor John Deron Johnson.

A seasoned and energizing speaker, Taylor has inspired millions since launching her career in 1985.  Previously, she held an executive position in the aerospace industry.

Taylor has written several books and her articles have appeared in Essence, Black Enterprise and Jet magazines.  Also, she established Women on the Grow, Super Goal Saturday Motivational Seminars, the Don't Give Up Conference and the Women's Paragon Leadership Training Series. 

A Southern California resident, she is married to John Taylor and attends Imani Christian Temple in Pomona.
