Assemblymember Holly J. Mitchell will be hosting a face-to-face meeting between utility companies and the community at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.
On Saturday, Feb. 23, the community will be able to meet with representatives of local utility companies to answer questions and receive information at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Mall Bridge from 10am-12 noon.
Hosted by Assemblymember Holly J. Mitchell, 54th District, this FREE workshop brings residents of the 54th District face-to-face with representatives of their utility companies and service providers to obtain answers to billing questions, resolutions to problems, or assistance in using products or electronic devices.
Many 54th District residents complain that contacting or obtaining useful information or assistance from their utility and service providers is increasingly difficult; lack of prompt response, unhelpful instructions or inadequate resolution to complaints. Too often, billings are complex or unclear and complaints are not satisfactorily resolved. It may be difficult to get equipment to work properly or to obtain maximum use out of such devices as cell phones, TV remotes, computers, etc. Lack of personalized attention is a growing problem.
On hand will be representatives from local utility companies & electronic equipment service providers such as The Gas Company, AT&T, Time Warner Cable, Verizon, LADWP, Sprint and DIRECTV.
This is a FREE, on a first-come, first-served basis event.
