Fremont H.S. Opens as a Restructured Campus

Celebrates First Day of School

Fremont High School, restructured to raise student performance and achievement, and celebrated the first day of school Tuesday, July 6, with the debut of students in school uniforms, the introduction of a new school vision, five-themed school academies, a new school day schedule, an enthusiastic support team of teachers, administrators, coordinators, coaches and paraprofessional selected to support students, numerous program enhancements for students, and lots more.

Located in Local District 7, Fremont High School was ordered restructured by Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Superintendent Ramon C. Cortines in December 2009, citing the school’s years of low academic gains and a lack of urgency in progress with little evidence of improvements in student achievement.

Fremont High School is located at 7676 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles.
