Pastor Sherman Gordon and the Family of Faith Christian Center (FFCC) will begin worshipping in a new edifice located at 345 East Carson Street in Long Beach. The first services are slated for Sunday, October 2, at 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

“God has moved in a mighty way on our behalf. We organized November 7, 2010 and 11 months later, we are moving into a church facility,” said Rev. Dr. Sherman A. Gordon, senior pastor.

“We are excited to be in Long Beach and look forward to working with the community and all clergy in the city. It’s a diverse area, right near the border of Carson, and we will focus on meeting the needs of all God’s people,” he said.

Since its founding, FFCC has attracted many people to unite with the church. Also, several outreach services have been established to assist families in need. To further aid the community, FFCC will hold a free health fair on Saturday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the church parking lot.

“Then, on Saturday, November 6, we will have a free ‘Seasoned Saints Health Fair’ to address the concerns of seniors. Everyone is invited to attend both events,” added Pastor Gordon.
