Hundreds of people are expected as the 11th Episcopal Diocese of the Church of the Living God, C.W.F.F., prepares for its 83rd Annual District Convention and Youth Seminar.

The five-day conference, led by Bishop Randy Kelley, presiding prelate, begins Wednesday, June 27, and continues through Sunday, July 1, at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, 9750 Airport Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The theme is ‘Living Out The Great Commission’ based on Matthew 25:34-40 and Acts 1:8. The daily agenda includes workshops for all ages from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and praise and worship services at 7 p.m.

Reflecting on the occasion, Bishop Harry L. Hendricks, host pastor of Temple #44, said, “What an awesome God we serve. God has created the times and seasons for His Glory and as we enter into this District Convention, we are excited with great anticipation what God will do through us.

“There is so much to be done and so many needs to be met. God has created the environment for bringing in a great harvest of souls. That is the purpose of our gathering and it is important that at this time we enter into this glorious convention season in total worship to Almighty God.”

Bishop Hendricks added, “All are welcome to attend and enjoy this spirit-filled conference.”
