All a fan of high school track and field needs to hear is Arcadia Invitational, because that is one of the top track meets in the nation.  The invitational attracts athletes from around the country, and many of the times at this track meet sets the nation’s leading marks.

Over the years this meet has nearly become a duel meet for Long Beach Poly and Gardena Serra, as they compete against each other in just about every sprint race, especially the relay races.  Dorsey also makes a lot of noise, and this year they may have the best 4×400-meter relay team in the state.

The meet starts at 5 p.m. at Arcadia high School.  For more information, visit
