Afro-American Chamber Music Society Orchestra Presents Nathaniel Ayers, Cellist

The Afro-American Chamber Music Society Orchestra presents Nathaniel Ayers from “The Soloist” on Saturday, June 25, at 4pm at the Smyrna SDA Church, 4394 W. Washington, Los Angeles. Admission: $20. For further information call (310) 677-8155. The program will include works by St. Georges, William Grant Still, Stephen James Taylor and other Black Symphonists.


Since 1988, The Afro-American Chamber Music Society Orchestra has preserved works by Black Symphonists from the 1600’s to the present through live performances in Los Angeles County and over KUSC classical radio station under the leadership of Professor Janise White, conductor. The concert is supported in part by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
